Skyline Commercial REIT recently made its 4th acquisition since its launch in March of this year.  This new property is located at 2187-2215 Huron Church Road in the city of Windsor (Ontario).  Made up of over 60,000 square feet of combined commercial, office and retail space, this property is strategically located at the intersection of one of the city’s main arteries for traffic flow through the city and also to and from the United States via the Ambassador Bridge.  The purchase price was approximately $7.25 million which almost doubles the current size of the Skyline Commercial REIT portfolio.

As a result of this recent acquisition, the Skyline Commercial REIT portfolio is currently made up of 4 properties, in 4 different communities which are comprised of over 158,000 square feet of commercial space.  The closing of another Windsor property will also take place within the next couple of weeks, marking the 5th acquisition of 2012.
