Dominic Bonin, Vice President, Skyline Commercial Asset Management Inc., was featured in an article published by Ottawa Business Journal about the hot industrial market in Kanata, Ontario.
The article features an interview with Bonin as well as development partners Mike Jager and Sam Tsoumas of Rosefellow.
In the article, Bonin, Jager, and Tsoumas discuss the high demand and lack of industrial supply in Kanata as well as two new development projects on which Skyline Industrial REIT and Rosefellow are partnering along with FIT Ventures. These projects will bring over half a million square feet of industrial space to the Kanata market.
Bonin remarked that “the new buildings will provide a ‘pure industrial option’ for customers such as building supply companies, HVAC operations, and tech firms looking for warehousing and light manufacturing space. This is giving us a great opportunity to acquire class-A, modern industrial real estate. There [aren’t many] opportunities to acquire that quality of an asset in this market.”
